The photograph was taken from the hill above Santuario and shows the Santo Niño de Atocha chapel in the foreground. In the distance lies the Plaza del Cerro. This was taken before pitched metal roofs became available. There were few trees and much of the open land was cultivated.

Esta fotografía fue sacada en el cerro que está arriba del Santuario. Se ve la capilla del Santo Niño de Atocha en frente. En el fondo queda la Plaza del Cerro. La foto fue sacada antes de que los techos en declive de metal se usaran. Había pocos árboles y se cultivaba la tierra llana.
